21 Day Fix vs 21 Day Fix Extreme What’s The Difference?
Hi guys it’s Petrina your go-to girl for learning how to make Fit work in a crazy busy world and for the past 21 days I have done a crazy effective program 21 Day Fix Extreme and I want to give you my full review, the good, the bad, the ugly and I’ll also give you a little collage of my before and after so stay tuned. So it has not been an easy 3 weeks, I’m going to tell you that and I’m going to be completely honest and lay out all the cards on the table for you and start out with the scope on the workouts, I got you know the 21 Day Fix Extreme and I very rarely do this but I plead out to get the extra workouts, the ultimate workouts, there were two different ones, ABC extreme and Power Strength extreme just so I could mix things up a little bit, I know it was just3 weeks and you know that’s not a lot of time to get board but hey I get board so I wanted a little bit more variety int he workouts, so I sprung for these and I’m glad that I did, I really did love both of the workouts, especially ABC Extreme, it’s a really great abs, or core workout, that’s where the ABC comes in,what could you choose, you’re going to get the bonus workout if you order it through a coach and that’s the challenge I did it once over the 21 days and it was crazy, it was really intense, you do pretty much, its like a pure mid type workout where you start out doing 4 sets of one move and then you keep on adding and adding and adding until I think you wind up doing 13 different moves over the course of the 30 minutes and it is hardcore, there are burpees in there, its tough, its definitely something to do if you’re feeling really pumped and really strong during the program say hey I want to do Fix challenge instead of, I think its a substitute for the Cardio Fix Extreme when you have that on the calendar…
Ill and brave, do the challenge. As I’ve said before in my little 21 Day Fix Extreme guide, this program is not for I think anyway a beginner or someone who would does a long intensive exercise, so workouts are very challenging, there are even some moves and I consider myself intermediate to advance where I couldn’t even do them and I had to modify and make it work for me, so rather than starting a program and getting really discouraged and weighing (Inaudible 0:02:31.3) I’d rather you just go and get the regular 21 Day Fix instead if you do ‘fall in the boat’ of beginner or someone who its been a while since you’ve worked out. The toughest part of this plan is going to be the nutrition, it is definitely stricter than your 21 Day Fix, you are allowed no cheats and no treats although to be completely candid, over the past few weeks I did have a cheat here and there, or a cheat/treat whatever you want to call it here and there and I still got amazing results which I will share with you later after I go over the nutrition.
I opted to do the Count Down to Competition Plan which is the most strict of plans you can do on this, its where you’re basically mixing things up between two days , its very, very strict nutrition where you’re just basically eating lean proteins, veggies… teaspoons and a lower carb allowance than you would on the normal Extreme Plan, so you’ll do 2 days of that followed by a day of regular extreme eating which again you’re not supposed to have any cheats or treats although I did you know every day I consider this a treat, I did have the Vegan Chocolate Shackology every single day over the 21 Days and it definitely didn’t handful my progress and actually made me less prone to be tempted by cheats or treats just because this was my way of getting my Chocolate Fix each and every day.
Ain’t going to lie, its tough, its tough, especially if you’re surrounded by kids who eat things that are definitely against the 21 Day Fix Extreme Plan but I stayed strong and I think the good reason for that is I think I was seeing and feeling so much better even really early on in the program, I mean the first week I dropped a good chunk of change when it comes to weight and I could feel my waste was leaner, I didn’t take measurements but I knew there was a difference, my pants were fitting better, I could tell that I was losing the muffin top that I showed you guys when I started… oh the muffin top and taking my pictures yesterday, I’m just really proud of sticking with the program for the 3 weeks and it is amazing to me that you can get such incredible results and not feel as if you’re starving and I know that I’ve emphasized that it is a really strict nutrition plan but the up-side is that you’re eating so frequently throughout the day that I eat 7 or 8 meals each day makes it easier and you are eating foods that are very nutrietn dense and you’ll find filling and any difficulties you have, its not related to actually hunger, its just different, emotional cravings that you have and one of the reasons why I really love both 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme is you really get in-touch with what those cravings are and how to best deal with them and you also get in tuned with how much better your body feels when you’re eating more whole foods and eating clean and proper portions sizes, its an eye opener for me and for so many of my clients, I love it, I love it, I love it, so that is the down-low on this program, if you want to know what kind of results you got in juts 21 Days, I lost 13 pounds and inches, 5 of them off my waist alone, its pretty remarkable, you can check out my before and afters in the slide show coming up.
(Children Cheering) As you can tell by the smile I’m very happy with how this program turned out, I loved, loved 21 Day Fix Extreme, I’m going to be going ahead and submitting my results online today so I can get my free T-shirt because I love free stuff, before I did that I wanted to share my brutally honest review with all of you so you can have an idea of whether or not this program is right for you and if not again I would highly recommend just the 21 Day Fix if you’re someone who is looking to get really great results in time for an event, you know Spring is coming, you think Spring is just a little over 21 days away and before we know it the swimsuit season is coming, I think the biggest value in both programs is the nutrition plans, so don’t be cheap, don’t try to find something on Ebay, get the support of a coach, I don’t care if its even me but work through a coach to go through the program and go through the actual rules with you and not the cliff notes version that you can see by Google searching, get the actual guide, don’t cheat yourself of results by going cheap and if you can swing it always, always get the challenge like the Shakeology is going to make your life so much easier through the 21 days and beyond, just giving you a nutrient dense meal option that you can just blend and go.
